Answer: If it is double action then yes. If it is double action the the trigger will usually be in the middle of the trigger gaurd. If it is single action you have to cock the hammer every time. Usually this trgger will be near the very back of the trigger guard. Just type in "single action revolver" in google and look. Then type in "double action revolver" you should be able to see the difference.
