What is the best

Question: I recently (unfortunately) got rid of a Tom Watson Adams Gunmetal 60*. I figured because I payed $30 for it brand new I would probably do better with a "better" wedge. I'm looking for a new or gently used one again. It was the best wedge I've used for nice sharp chips and pitches, without being a milled face club. I figure this must have happened to others, so maybe people could benefit from a few lower cost suggestions. If it helps, http://www.globalgolf.com/ has one used Ram Tom Watson 58*

Answer: I had a RAM Tom Watson 58* wedge back in college that was a magic stick - every time I'm faced with a tricky shot to a tight pin I'm reminded of what an idiot I was to not buy as many of them as I could when they were still being made (mine got used so much I wore out the grooves and sole completely - I couldn't help practicing with it all the time because it was so much fun to hit - high lobs, low spinning shots, all kinds of sand shots - don't know if my skill has declined or that wedge was that good, but it made my entire game better - I wasn't afraid of any pin because I had so much confidence in getting up and down with that thing from even the gnarliest places). Sure it won't help you (I keep looking for the club on ebay), but your question reminded me (again) that I was an idiot for getting rid of that club and felt compelled to share.
