Grayling in Ontario?

Question: Does anyone know if there are grayling anywhere in Ontario? I know Michigan used to have them before the logging days and would think the lived nearby in Canada as well.

Answer: I've done some fishing in Northern Ontario (Lake of the Woods and Lake Ontario), but I've never encountered any Arctic Grayling there. Plenty of northern pike, muskie, and my personal favorite eating fish, walleye (or pickerel as it's sometimes known), but no grayling. One of the guys I work with has fished grayling, but this was up in Northern Saskatchewan. Good luck, sorry I couldn't provide more info on availability of grayling in Ontario.
